Sometimes I found myself thinking about when Buffy was really born.

In “I, Robot… You, Jane…”¹, from inside the internet, a demon hacks Buffy's high school records and we discover:

Buffy was born in '79. Far out.

But the show quickly cuts back to the same computer monitor and Buffy is a year younger.

Pretty sloppy, you guys.

Buffy was born in '80 then.

Two episodes later Buffy dies in “Nightmares”² —of course she does. And the birthday changes again:

(This is a dream sequence anyway).

Buffy was born in '81.

With the day of birth thing, very sloppy.
